(June 12, 2014)
I wanted to take pictures of the boys for Father's Day and get them printed, and then put them in a frame he could keep on his desk at his office... but it was so stinkin' hot outside (it was even 10am!) already, so all the kids were grumpy that I was making them do something so horrifying... It turned out cuter than I thought it would, but still not something I would want to print and put in a frame... maybe I will have more forethought another year...

Star Chart
(May 30, 2014)
I wanted some sort of incentive to help me get the kids doing things I want. Such as chores, naps, waking up dry in the morning, etc.
So I made this:
They get pretty excited when I offer them a star - I just need to remember to offer them!

Sprinklers
(May 30, 2014)
What do you do when it's hot outside?
Sneak outside and turn on the sprinkler. Make sure you get all your clothes wet since you just got clean clothes on. Even better - make sure you are wearing socks and shoes!
(Don't let Mom find out!)

Lincoln - Preschool Graduation
(May 16, 2014)
Lincoln had his graduation with a little program of a lot of the things they learned throughout the year. There were a lot of songs, songs with little actions, and Lincoln didn't seem too big into performing. He was pretty proud of himself though. He was really happy that both Jesse and I were there. Most of the kids in his class he won't see until maybe high school (if then), so I thought he would talking to his friends afterwards. But no... he was more into the little water squirter present he got with his certificate, and the refreshments! Milk and cookies... yum!

Lincoln's Preschool - Mother's Day Tea Party
(May 9, 2014)
Lincoln's preschool does a little program for the mothers near Mother's Day. It was short and sweet, and we had some cookies and punch afterwards. They were encouraged to wear princess outfits, and boas, and gloves... anything fancy. So Lincoln wore a shirt and tie. As we came into his preschool, he was so embarrassed he was wearing church clothes. It was pretty funny. After I pointed out that there were others in his class wearing fancy clothes, too, he relaxed a little. There was even a boy who made his mom wear a tiara & dress to go as Ana and he wore a Prince Hans (both from Frozen) outfit - adorable!

Picnic with all 5
(May 7, 2014)
Of course I'm a little crazy... so after my mom left I was feeling a little stir crazy. I thought I would try taking all 5 out by myself. We just went down the street to the park. You can park extremely close by, so I was able to just carry the car seat the short distance. I also didn't feel like making (and cleaning up) a mess during lunch. So out we went!
Charity slept the whole time, no mess to clean off the floor, and the boys got worn out and took naps. Win-win-win. But of course I was exhausted, too. So naps all around!

Charity - Blessing Day
(May 4, 2014)
Since my parents were in town (my mom had been here since the day Charity came home from the hospital), we decided to bless Charity in our ward. Jesse did a great job, of course!
My brother & his family, Jeff, Jackie, Veronica, David, Vanessa, & Violet, also came to support us. It was so nice to see them! We hadn't seen them for quite awhile. Thank you for visiting! (Sorry I was a little grumpy...!)
This was actually the same dress that my sister, Rachel, and I were blessed in when we were babies.

Charity - 2 weeks old
(May 3, 2014)
This is my favorite outfit so far. So adorable! Dressing Charity has been such a nice change from the boys' pants and t-shirts... This outfit was given to us by Lacy, a neighbor on our street.

Charity, Church, & Parker
(April 27, 2014)
I felt pretty awesome after this pregnancy and birth. No C-section. No NICU. No tearing. Such a fast recovery time. So when Charity was 9 days old, we went to church for the first time! Just the first meeting though...
Parker was a little skeptical of Charity when we first brought her home. But after he had been around her for a little more than a week, he finally wanted to hold her. And he absolutely loved it and adores his baby sister!
Parker showers Charity with kisses! He loves her and always wants to give her a kiss. As I'm putting her down to sleep, Parker wants to go in to give her a kiss good night. Such a sweet boy. He's our sneaky little munchkin... but he is so affectionate!
