To get Lincoln excited about his costume, I told him he and Parker were going as "Mr. Salt & Mrs. Pepper" from a favorite show of his, Blue's Clues. It worked! He loved his costume and was proud to be Mr. Pepper. I even heard him say to Parker, "Come on, Mr. Salt!"
