Ashley & Kurt organized an awesome camping trip to Posey Lake (15 miles north of Escalante, Utah). Almost everyone from the Bird immediate family was able to come (we missed you, Hendershot family!) plus Jimmy's sister, my sister and her husband, Cody, Becky, and Maryanne. It was cold and windy, but I wish we would have stuck out that 2nd night because the weather was beautiful the day after we left. Lincoln didn't love camping... at least at night. He woke up every few hours because the wind was so noisy. There was hiking, fishing, canoeing, and hanging out by the campfire. I'm glad we came! Thanks, Kurt & Ashley for all the time and energy you put into planning the campout! We definitely need to go again this summer!

Jesse & I went fishing too... Jesse caught a fish and I got too impatient to keep fishing so I demanded to go to shore. No pictures of that, though. :)
Sorry for bailing so early, everyone! We had a good time (during the day!) and are excited for next time. :) Hopefully it will be warmer though...
