October 13-16

A couple travel-ish plans that failed had me searching for something else to do over Fall Break. So I contacted my brother and his wife in LA and they said it was okay to come (even though it was super last minute)! They are awesome, right?!!

Jesse couldn't get work off and was also experiencing bad headaches... so he didn't join us. 

 

 

Jackie took us to the park the morning after we arrived. Her kids were still in school, but I wasn't up for anything crazy after that Insanity workout...!

 

The kids played A LOT of connect 4!

Jeff brought back some Dead Sea clay treatment. That was interesting!

 

 

Violet and Parker (both 5 and in Kindergarten) latched onto each other and played really well together. This moment was Parker's favorite of our trip- throwing sand with Violet. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The kids got a kick out of feeding the birds Cheetos right out of their hands. 

 

All 5 fell asleep on the way back... Lincoln awoke just before the picture. 

 

Jeff treated us all to Frostys after dinner. 

 

Movie night!

We had a wonderful time! It was even semi-relaxing even though Jesse wasn't there to help. We all missed him... particularly on the drive home when I lost it because I couldn't find a Taco Bell (or anything except a burger!). Hopefully the kids forget that part of our trip...
