Desert Tortoise

School started this past Tuesday, and all the Health Sciences moved over to the building behind the new hospital. Since there is a big patch of desert right behind the new building (Taylor Building), I wasn't too surprised to see some desert wildlife hiding out under one of the cars. This desert tortoise is the biggest one I have seen in St. George - about the size of a basketball (in circumference)!!! I guess he just wanted a little shade!
