| So I couldn't find / didn't want to look for black buttons for eyes/mouth... so we used mini Oreos. Parker quickly snagged one after the pictures... then the rest fell off. |
I was really surprised at how long we had abnormally low temperatures (it's been over a hundred years since temperatures have dropped so low... and they lasted for so long!). That meant we had snow on the ground for a week! More in shady places. But I didn't feel like braving the cold to help the boys build a snowman until the next Saturday when it was almost melted off. The neighbor kids built a huge snowman - it reminded me of recesses at elementary school in Idaho. At least we got to it, right?
